What is the Literature Distribution Center (LDC)?

Al-Anon Literature Distribution Centers (LDCs) provide Al-Anon members with local access and delivery of Al-Anon books, pamphlets, booklets, kits, posters, films, guidelines and other Al-Anon material. 

A trusted Al-Anon volunteer, acting as Coordinator for the LDC, buys Conference Approved Literature (CAL) from the World Service Office (WSO) in the USA, in large amounts and responds to orders from groups, individual members, and anyone within the LDC area.

Though the LDC aims to keep a good stock of literature, some books may not be available. Please bear in mind that the LDC is run by volunteer(s). Kindly treat them with respect . :-)

Upon receipt of an official email invitation from a convention committee, the LDC can provide literature for sale at conventions. Please email for such a request: literature.alanonnetherlands@gmail.com 

Ordering Al-Anon literature

Al-Anon members are encouraged to order books via their home group Literature Coordinator. The Group Literature Coordinator can place a group order with the LDC. Individual orders, coming direct from members, will be accommodated wherever possible.  

How to order literature:

1. Decide which books you would like. You can consult the CAL Catalogue.

2. Download and fill in the Literature Order Form using the button below.  (NB: you will not see the file download but you will find it in your Downloads directory.)  The current prices are indicated on the form. If a book is not in stock at LDC, it can be ordered from the WSO though this may take several weeks. Please liaise with the LDC volunteer.

3. Email the order form directly to the email address:  literature.alanonnetherlands@gmail.com   Once the order is ready for shipping, the LDC volunteer will inform you of the postage / shipping costs and will provide you with an invoice and the LDC bank account details, for payment.

Note: We do not accept credit cards.

The current LDC prices are given on the Order Form. Please note that due to shipping cost increases from the US, LDC book prices have subsequently also increased to reflect this.
